In fairness, I was secretly hoping this movie would be a smart version of G.I. Jane; it turns out to be a somewhat boring version of it. I can’t say it’s a bad movie, but watching Cmdt Riviere constantly remove his glasses and sigh longingly became old the third time it happened. I developed no affection for the main character and was hoping it would end sooner than later. Not the greatest movie, but I’ve seen much worse.
